Alexander McQueen
Today marks the passing of another talent. British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead at his home of an apparent suicide.
McQueen who was 40, was discovered in his palatial flat in Green Park, central London.
It is believed the designer hung himself, just days after losing his own mother Joyce.
In a statement to the UK Daily Mail, his offices said, “It’s a tragic loss.”
The famous designer who counted celebrities like Lady Ga Ga, Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce, and alike as clients, had his contemporary line McQ, due to be shown at New York Fashion Week on Thursday. The show is now cancelled.
Known for his flamboyant designs and noted tailoring, celebrities are pouring out the condolences and thoughts on line at present.
