Alicia Sacramone
There is a new romance in the air. Alicia Sacramone, a 2008 U.S. Olympic team member is now in a relationship with Brady Quinn, Cleveland Brown quarterback.
Sacramone reported to US Gymnastics, saying “I’m dating Brady Quinn, so I travel to Cleveland on Sunday afternoons for home games.” She also told them that she is looking for an apartment after living at home, and is preparing to transfer to another university between trips to Cleveland.
She also mentioned : “It’s hard getting skills back. Mentally I feel like I can do it, but physically my body is not ready yet,” Sacramone said about her getting back to training. “I’m working beam and vault and slowly working on floor. That won’t be for a while though.”
She has spent a summer doing an internship with clothing maker Tank Farm in Los Angeles “L.A. was not my scene,” she claimed to USA Gymnastics.
Sacromone will be returning to training before the 2009 Championships in August, with hopes to compete at the 2010 Nationals, at Hartford, Connecticut.
The two who met at a charity event have been getting very close over time.
The Browns drafted Quinn, 25, as their 22ND overall choice in 2007, with four very successful seasons at Notre Dame. He mentioned to Sacromone ” He said he’s excited to come to a gymnastics meet,” having never been involved with gymnastics.
On Sunday the Detroit Lions won over the Browns 38-37 even after four touchdown passes thrown by Quinn.
Sacromone is best remembered for her winning of a silver medal as part of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team and just missing a bronze on the vault. She was linked in the past with Eric Hunt, who is a defensive back at Brown University where Sacromone was attending before the Olympics.
