With retailers still hurting from last weekend’s East Coast snowstorm, many are counting on strong Christmas Eve Sales to make up the lost revenue. Last minute shoppers have always relied on Christmas Eve Sales to complete their holiday shopping, and also to find great Christmas Eve Deals! Some Macy’s stores announced this week that they would remain open 24/7 through Christmas eve in order to catch the few people who might think shopping at the mall in the middle of the night was a good idea.
Best Buy also announced significant Christmas eve sales, making it one of the best places to look for Christmas eve deals. Target, KMART and Wal-Mart have also announced their own Christmas Eve Sales in the hopes of winning the business of last minute shoppers. Items like Sony Playstation 3, and Sony HDTV’s have proven particularly popular in recent weeks, and have flown off retailer’s shelves.
Nordstrom’s, which usually only puts on sales twice a year, has gone pretty much all in on their Christmas Eve deals, offering brand name items like Ugg shoes at significant deals. Sears has also announced its own set of Christmas Eve Deals, and often times has beat out other retailers.
