Datehookup- an online dating agency

Many people believe that some marriages are made in heaven but an increasing number of people are now flocking to the internet to meet that special person. Gone are the days when one would go to church or tell their friends about meeting someone. Today, internet is the marriage portal for many people. The idea of falling in love with someone you’ve never met is not a new trend.

Ever since the evolution of cyberspace, online dating agencies have blossomed. There have been hundreds of dating agencies over the years and most have gone under. Now we have Datehookup. This dating agency has been around for several years and has a decent webpage. It appears to receive a lot of visitors, mostly single men (and a few women) looking for the ultimate one. Datehookup is a free online dating site with an open forum. There are also several decent articles you can read on love and once you log in you can look at profiles of other members. The site earns money through advertising. The Datehookup site is easy to navigate and one can send instant message to any profile.

While the basic service is free, the agency also  offers upgraded membership to “gold” status where you get extra privileges to view high profiled members (it definitely wont be Pamela Anderson), get to glimpse photos and allows you to send  gift(s) to that special person.

However, the question is does Datehookup actually work?

In all probability Datehookup is like most dating sites. It attracts a lot of single individuals, earns money through advertizing and all you get in return is peeks at a few girls (if you pay up, you can look at photos). The majority of blogs on Datehookup claim that  you never meet anyone and all you get in return is a lot of spam and junk. There are not many people who have come forward and claimed that they have met someone online on this site. The girls posted with their profiles are most likely fakes and do not exist. Countless blogs indicate that after months of paid  membership, all they have to show for is a big bill.  No matter what dating agency you visit, you can rest assured you are not going to meet Miss California, Brad Pitt or Jennifer Aniston. In all probability you will meet the same type of person as you who is desperate to meet someone.

Cyberspace is an illusion with lots of false promises. Dating services prey on people who are desperate, lonely or truly seeking someone. For those of you who are still looking for a partner, remember online dating services generally empty your pockets and fill them with a lot of disappointments.
