TheĀ  Minnesota Vikings, had a loss of 30-17 to the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

They looked to be outplayed in many areas, although the Viking players also suffered throughout the game injury after injury. But the player worst off would have to be Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson who suffered a serious leg injury in the fourth quarter of the game.

While tackling the Cardinals Tim Hightower, Henderson collided with Jamarca Sanford, but his leg was twisted and ended up on the ground in serious pain. He was afterwards carted off the field to be comforted by his brother while medics attended to him.

The Vikings had been going well for no injuries, apart from Pro Bowl corner-back Antoine Winfield, with his fractured right foot. Missing the last six games.

But this game, saw many starters leaving the field with an assortment of injuries. Including Phil Loadholt ( Right Tackle,) Byrant McKinnie (Left Tackle,) Visanthe Shiancoe (Tight End,) Cedric Griffin (Cornerback,) and Tyrell Johnson ( Safety), who all were off the field due to injuries.

Griffin and Johnson, did not return to the game after, unlike the others.

They will have to mend quickly before their game next Sunday with the Cincinnati Bengals at the Metrodome.

Henderson entered Sundays game with 73 tackles this year, and is a seven year veteran out of Maryland.
