You really have to love technology. No longer do we have to sit and at home and watch TV.
Now with the release of the FLO TV Personal Television you can watch it whereevr you would like to.
It is brought to us by FLO TV Inc, a subsidiary of Qualcomm. They ill be offering programming from CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile, NBC, MTV and many others. The device will have the ability to access up to 20 channels. Although only half are available at this present time.
Some of the shows that will be shown will even be screening at the same time they do on normal TV. Others will feature a day later such as The Late Show with David Letterman.
They even had Michael Jackson’s memorial in July showing which gave the service it’s highest ever viewing audience.
FLO can also add channels during live events such as college basketball games.
The average viewer uses the service daily for viewing 25 minutes, and it’s peak usage time is 1pm.
Broadcast mobile TV is set to reach a $2.8 billion and 50 million user peak in North America by 2013.
The device has a foldaway adjustable viewing stand , decent built in stereo speakers and is also headphone accessible. The battery has quite a bit of power also FLO says you will get 5 hours viewing between charges or 300 hours standby.
And costing around $250 and after your first six months of service including gratis, you will pay around $14.99 per month for access to programming ( or $8.99 a month if you prepay for three years.)
With it’s 3.5 inch touch screen you will never be far away from all of your favourite programs.
