Free Golf Carts
This might be the only good news Tiger Woods will get this month. It seems the IRS has a ruling which may allow golf carts to qualify for the electric car credit.
Which is not only good news for Woods, but also any golfer.
The Federal credit will be providing from $4,200 to $5,500 to go towards an electric vehicle.
Although when it is added with other similar incentive plans available in many states, the tax credit almost covers the whole cost of a golf cart.
The tax credit is intended for electric vehicles, although golf carts are deemed vehicles . So this loophole may allow them to be purchased. And manufacturers of the carts are presently booming with business. The only thing the cart needs to be is road worthy to be available of the tax credit. The qualifying golf carts are just like normal ones except some have safety features, such as seat belts, side mirrors etc. And the drive up to 25 miles per hour.
This is actually a great gift idea for Christmas and with the tax credits, you may even get the gift for close to free.
