Live Ball Drop 2010

Well only just over an hour ago, some of the lucky people in New York City’s Time Square, would of had the opportunity to see the ball drop.

For some of us not so lucky but we can always get in on the fun and festivities.

Watching the ball drop for New Years eve while counting down the final minute has become a very popular tradition. So don’t forget to find the live feeds, which feature on some popular sites, where you can watch all the action as it happens.

Times Square’s security was extra tight through the night due to the bomb scare that eventuated due to a van which was parked, with no plates, and its windows covered. While the square was closed for police to investigate the problem, it was opened again in time for the New Year celebrations.

You can still see what is happening around New York and Times Square by simply going to one of the many web-cam sites and choosing your location to view from.

As 2010 has started we hope you all had a fantastic start to the New Year, and that the year ahead is on that you remember for all the good it brought.

Another popular thing for the New Year, was the Times Square shredders, where you could rid what you didn’t like of 2009, by writing it on a piece of paper and shredding it forever, leaving your troubles behind.
