Steve Philips Scandal

It seems affairs have become common among people in the sports media. The latest is Steve Philips, the ESPN baseball analyst. Insiders to ESPN reveal that Philips had a brief but lusty affair with 22 year old production assistant, Brooke Hundley this past summer. The sexual tryst burst open when Brooke contacted Steve’s wife and kids, according to police statements.  Steve has been suspended by ESPN because of the scandal but his troubles are just beginning. His wife, Marni, has now filed for a divorce and his life has become a media circus. It appears that that Brooke went to Steve’s’ home and repeatedly called Steve’s wife in a desperate attempt to get back at him, say police reports. The story does appear to get even more interesting as now there is word that Brooke may have utilized ESPN work computer to get in touch with Steve’s son, on Facebook while pretending to be a classmate.

From police reports it appears that Philips and Brooke had several sexual encounters after which he dumped her. Brooke in return paid the favor by contacting Steve’s wife and even had the nerve to send a letter that contained information about Steve’s groin anatomy.

Sources in media say that that the star culture in the sports media is a magnet for attracting young women to men. Just ask Jim Nantz, Harold Reynolds and Mike Tirico.

    Steve Phillips commits a reprise
    Of bedding down his employees;
    Hits Hundley, then walks,
    So she in turn stalks
    And puts his past balls in a squeeze.

    The amount of sexual bull that goes on at espn is ridiculous. That company covers up so much sexual krap that its a story ready to be ripped open. All its gonna take is a good reporter and enough money to buy all the tramps at espn enough drinks to get their mouths moving. (I mean after all, its not like the reporter can do that for free…he’s no jock)
