Pamela Smart- Murderess wins judgment

Yesterday, a federal judge agreed  to a financial settlement ending a prison lawsuit filed by the notorious murderess, Pamela Smart. Smart claimed that she had received unjust and abusive treatment by New York prison officials after racy photos of her in her prison cell emerged in the national enquirer. She asserted that these photos were obtained without her permission by a prison guard who also sexually battered her.

U.S. District Court Judge Robert Sweet permitted $ 23,875 recompense on Monday to Smart from the state of New York, where she is in detention at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility. Under the agreement, New York State did not own up to any liability.

Smart who is 42, was convicted 18 years ago for using her 16 year old lover, William Flynn and his three school friends to kill her husband, Gregory in Derry, NH. Pamela Smart was convicted principally as a result of testimony from her co-conspirators and surreptitiously recorded conversations between  them.

Smart met Flynn at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH where she was working as a media services controller and Flynn was a high school student. After initially denying a part in her husband’s murder, she has now circuitously claimed liability that this would not have happened had she not had the affair. Smart’s trial generated national interest and even spawned a TV movie starring Helen Hunt and Chad Allen.

Pamela Smart is a bright women who went to college at Florida state university obtained a communications degree with honors. While in prison she has also completed a degrees in literature and legal studies.

Unfortunately, Pamela Smart has never shown any remorse for the murder of her husband.
