Shaniya Davis body found Autopsy ordered
The poor lifeless body of five year old Shaniya Davis was found in the woods off Walker Road, in a thick area of brush and trees.
Her own mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis was charged with child abuse involving prostitution, human trafficing and also filing a false police report, while also interfering with an investigation.
As any parents worse nightmare her body will undergo an autopsy in Chapel Hill at the North Carolina Office of the Cheif Medical Examiner. Officials are in hope they will discover what the cause of death was in the case.
Additional charges are likely to be filed in this case, as Fayetteville police had uncovered new information. The FBI have now been involved in this horrible crime.
As any parent would know this case is hard on anyone involved, even the community and people surrounding the area. And especially the loved ones left behind.
Shaniya’s father Bradley Lockhart tearfully told a crowd at a vigil last night:
“I ask you to give me and everyone who loved poor Shaniya — my little baby, my angel — the strength to continue on,” Lockhart told the crowd, according to Raleigh’s ABC affiliate WTVD.
