Skyline College Shooting

Skyline College Shooting
Shots rang out at Northern California’s Skyline College today and the school website hosts a message reading:
We have had a shooting on campus and are now in lockdown. Please shelter in place, away from windows, with doors shut until further notice. We sent an emergency text message to all students. Wednesday evening classes have been canceled.
The shooting has left one student injured and many other in fear for their life – the gunman has not been captured yet. SWAT teams assisted in the evacuation of Skyline and are now looking for three men who were seen running into the school, one with a gun and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
It seems that school officials have avoided a PR nightmare by responding quickly and engaging the help of local authorities and SWAT teams. Other schools that have had shootings occur, like Columbine Highschool (attacked in 1999) were criticized for their inability to react to the shooters in time to prevent death or injury.
