Elijah Wood and 32 year old actress Brittany Murphy were due to spend New Year preparing for their roles starring the sequel to the animated film Happy Feet.
Murphy was set to travel to Australia to start shooting the sequel, until her untimely death.
Friends of Brittany’s had supposedly spoken to Brittany and her excitement about the trip and spending time with Elijah.
But unfrotunately Brittany was founf unconcious in the shower of her LA home, by her mother.
Suffering from a cardiac arrest, her husband Simon Monjack and also paramedics desperately tried to revive Murphy without success.
Elijah Woods who was born in 1981 is an American actor, and is best known for his role as Frodo Baggins, in The Lord Of The Rings.
The award winning first Happy Feet, also had him voicing, the character, Mumble.
Murphy will be sadly missed as the voice for Gloria the penguin, for which the role will probably have to be recast.
