                                                                                                                                                           The History Channel’s Monster Quest featured on Wednesday night, The Mothman. The Mothman is a mythical creature that reigns from West Virginia.

David Weaver, who is the Mountain State University justice study professor, also appeared on the show.

Weaver provided the show with composite drawings of the creature, which were made from sightings from locals in the Point Pleasure area, and also other sightings around the country.

Weaver spoke about the mythical creature and the sightings, ” Well we had a couple of interviews over the phone. But as a forensic scientist I have to be very careful about what I get involved in and how I portray the strange issues people try to pull me in to.”

Weaver appeared on the show Monster Quest, which showed on the History Channel Wednesday night at 9 p.m.

Monster Quest is an American documentary style show featuring people who investigate paranormal sightings across the United States.
