Sonic the Hedgehog 4

Sega has been teasing gamers for ages now. Especially their Sonic fans, introducing their Sonic the Hedgehog . And they will even introduce it with Episode 1.

This version will have similar graphics looking almost the same, it will include 3D visuals, although no-one has the seen the finished product yet.

They have included some snippets for fans to grab a taste of or even a tease. And for any Sega fan it is the moment they have been waiting for for ages.

Sega spoke about going back to their past, and it looks like they have realised their goal.

The game will be offered on Xbox LIVE Arcade, WiiWare, PlayStation Network and also a mystery platform, as the video and also the official website shows a blank rectangular space with a lock and a question mark, close to the other platforms.

It could be offered on the Steam, which would be great for PC gamers, but only time will tell.

The PS# and Xbox 360 versions will run at 1080p while the Wii version will only run at 480p. There will be no special controls for Xbox users, although the Wii and PS3 gamers, can take to using the motion control courtesy of the WiiMote and Sixaxis.

The full length title will be subtitled (Episode 10 while Ken Balough the Sega associate brand manager says, “When Sega released Sonic 3, ultimately it was the part 1 of a story that saw its conclusion in Sonic & Knuckles. In that same spirit, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is a bigger story, and this is that first chapter.”
