A 911 call was made at 8.00AM, from the home of Simon Monjack the Los Angeles Fire Department told TMZ.

It seems that Brittany Murphy’s own mother found the “Clueless”, “8Mile” and “Don’t Say a Word” star unconscious in the shower.

When paramedics arrived they determined that Murphy was in full cardiac arrest, and administered CPR. Although on arrival at Cedars- Sinai Medical Center she was announced dead.

It has also been reported that the LA County Coroner will be collecting Murphy’s body from Ceders later today to launch an investigation.

Her time of death was listed at 10.04 AM.

The actress was only 32 years of age.
