It seems that CNN’s Abbi Tatton, the Internet reported for the Situation Room is leaving the Network. This will make three CNN changes reported only today.

TVN reported “CNN confirms the departure. A CNN spokesperson says, ‘Abbi is a Situation Room original and has been a wonderful colleague at CNN — both on and off the air — for nearly a decade. We’re sorry Abbi has decided to leave the network but we’re thrilled she has other opportunities. We truly wish her all the best.’”

Today the networks Wolf Blitzer bid a farewell to the online correspondent, who has now been with the network for a decade.
After a compilation of her favourite moments over the years (including a segment where he made her repeat the word ass in her native English accent), Tatton expressed her own feelings about her final day at CNN.

She said, “It’s my last day, very very sad for us,” “What an amazing 10 years I’ve had. Very hard to leave, but exciting things ahead.”

“You’ll always be a valued member of the Wolf Pack.” Blitzer replied to her.

Tatton is originally from England and is based in Washington, DC. After joining CNN in 2000, she worked as a producer for Inside Politics, Crossfire and On the  Story, she also worked on the CNN Election Express.

Born in 1975 she attended the Cherwell School in Oxford, England.

The position she leaves was on a segment which tracked Internet angles in political, national and International news and trivia as part of the Wolf Blitzer’s “The Situation Room.”

She and fellow CNN Reporter Jacki Schechner were one of the first “Internet Reporters” in mainstream television news.
