Alexa Ray Joel
It has been reported that Alexa Ray Joel, Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter a 23 year old musician had been rushed to St.Vincent’s Hospital in New York City on Saturday night.
The New York Post also reports, that is was a failed suicide attempt. The newspaper claims that she had ingested a large amount of sleeping pills before being rushed to the emergency room.
It was said that Joel had taken several pills and wanted to die, according to a female caller to 911, sources said.
Claire Mercuri, Alexa’s and Billy’s personal publicist said, “Alexa is stable. Her doctors are assessing her needs and that’s all we can say at this moment.”
At St. Vincents, Joel was said to be stable awake and expected to fine.
Joel born in 1985, is an American singer, songwriter and pianist.
