The last episode of Showtime’s Dexter, definitely left with a cliffhanger.

The season which has seen the serial killing forensic scientist, learning to become a loving husband and father, while trying to subdue his alter ego. And also dealing with Trinity, another serial killer who Dex, should of dealt with with first finding out who he was.

This episode shows Dexter being found out by Trinity, as Trinity (Arthur Mitchell) finally finds out that “Kyle” is really Dexter.

He gives Dexter an ultimatum to leave him alone and he will leave Dexter alone. Although Dexter doesn’t give up that easily, following Trinity to a bank, where a drama unfolds with Dexter breaking a mirror on a car, fleeing from the scene in which the owner tracks him down. Which leads to a confrontation when Dexter subdues Trinity in his van with a shot, this finally ending with Dexter getting arrested.

We also see Dexter and Rita are planning a romantic getaway, after collecting him from jail. Although Trinity is also planning a getaway, not knowing the homicide department is closing in on him.

When Rita is leaving for her flight, she remembers something she has forgotten and has to return home, she calls and leaves a message for Dexter and that she will be getting a later flight.

While this is going down, Dexter goes to Trinity’s house , just as his own team bust through the door, although Dexter gets away, and re-enters like he had gotten there at same time. But Trinity is gone and also discovers what Trinity is planning to do, he takes an oil cap from his car, to ensure the car breaks down. Giving him the chance to kill him.

But when he finally returns home he finds his wife murdered and his son crying in the bathroom with Rita’s blood over him, Trinity had gotten there and left a scene very familiar to Dexter’s own upbringing.

This shocked most viewers and leaves a world of possibilities for the next season.

Tonight’s episode is based on Bocuse d’Or.

What is Bocuse d’Or you may ask yourself?

It is ths Olympics of culinary and tonight it is based upon the Beaucop d’Or.

And the final five tonight get a challenge based on the famous comp.

The Bocuse d’Or was created by Chef Paul Bocuse in 1987. He created it to broaden the public’s understanding  of the extraordinary dedication, hard work, practice and precision required to execute the very finest cuisine. It is the most difficult and rigorous International culinary competition in the world held every two years in Lyon France. There are twenty four countries selected to enter.

The teams are allowed five and a half hours to create two intricate platter pieces. One that is seafood based the other meat, each much also have an accompaniment of three original garnishe’s. Each team is provided five and a half hours to create two elaborate platter presentations, one centered around seafood and one on meat, each accompanied by three original garnishes. They are then presented in front of twenty four judges each who have the own esteemed reputations as chefs in their own countries. The competition comes down to the harmony of flavours, the presentation and the techniques used, and also around the team word involved.

Thousands of spectators attend and the atmosphere is intense and unique. It is also covered by journalists from all over the world.

The following day the competitors are treated to a Michelin 3-star restaurant  in Collonges where a ceremony to honor the top three teams is done. The names of these teams are then engraved with their names and countries on the front walkway into the restaurant on a plaque..

This year the Bocuse d’Or Foundation will select 16 chef/commis teams from amongst all the applicants to enter the domestic Semi-final and Final competitions at the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park on February 4-6, 2010. Notification will be provided on December 7th, 2009.

Based in Charming, a fictional town in Northern California. With members such as Jackson “Jax” Teller, played by Charlie Hunnam, a young rider in the club who begins to question himself and the basis of the club itself.

It premiered on September 3, 2008 on FX cable network. And the second season debuted on September 8, 2009.

With 5.4 millions viewers weekly, it takes it to the networks most successful show since Rescue Me.

This week the episode is very exciting.

Entitled “The Service” the episode will be filled with deep emotional turmoil when Opie seeks revenge and reconciliation.

While the repo business proves much more fruitful than the club ever imagined, ATF Agent Stahl gets up close and personal with the MC.

While Jax and Clay force Gemma to make a tough decision. There will also be someone making a secret deal with Agent Stahl in order to protect their wife and daughter.
