Tapeworm Diet
There was a surprising subject on The Tyra Banks Show, one that in this day and age, shouldn’t be surprising, but still is quiet dramatic.
Miss Banks introduced the viewers and the audience, to “The Tapeworm Diet”, a diet in which doesn’t outline what you eat, but what you ingest.
The diet is one where you actually eat a parasite, so you can eat food, as you would normally without gaining any more weight. Yes the worm eats it for you.
Diet Review says about the diet, “[The Tapeworm] secretes proteins in our intestinal tract that make our digestion of food much less efficient. A less efficient digestive systems means that you can consume more calories through your food since your “body guest” is also noshing on them for his own growth purposes. Some scientists estimate that those infected with a single tapeworm can lose up to one or two pounds each week.”
As this does sound extreme while also being pretty gross, it does beg the question is it better than exercise?
Tyra also had a guest on the show a gentleman who actually sells the worms on over the Internet, although this practice is actually banned by the FDA.
People even went to Twitter, to give their opinions about the controversial diet, with one woman saying, “I’m still undecided on Tyra Banks’ Tapeworm diet. I don’t know if its a great or just plain ridiculous.”
Looks like there are some nutty subjects coming up for the talk show, since Banks has announced that she will be bowing out of the daytime television talk show spot to focus more on her production company.
Another subject that came up on the show was regarding “the latest trends in tiny pets, ” with one woman showing her pet Capuchin monkey, which she had all dressed up. The saddest fact about it was that the woman had actually had the monkeys teeth removed so it would never be able to bite her.
And again people took to Twitter talking about this subject with a woman saying, “so, after seeing Tyra today, i want one of those little pigs. & that lady made me want a baby monkey even more. i must get one!”
Seems this world just keeps getting that little crazier every day.
Who knows what Peta would have to say about both issues.
