At a press conference today Pittsburgh Penn Hills corner back,  Cullen Christian gave Michigan a verbal commitment for it’s 2010 football recruiting class. Cullen chose the Wolverines according to rivals.com and scout.com.

He’s the third-best player in Pennsylvania and the sixth-best corner back in th USA according to Rivals. Scout also claims him as the No.3 corner back in the Nation.

Christian chose Michigan over West Virginia, Ohio State, UCLA and Pittsburgh, he stands 6 feet 1 and weighs 180 pounds.

His biography on Scout.com,  states him finishing with 35 tackles in his junior season, with two interceptions and one fumble caused.

He also benches a whopping 245-pounds and can squat 315, 20 times.  He reports a 2.7 core GPA and a 1440 three-part SAT, and a 1020 two-part SAT.

Christian says about is skills: “I can jump and have good quickness. I have good movement and am smooth and have a great back peddle.

“I want to improve my speed. That’s the main thing and I also want to make more of an impact when I hit. I need to be more physical when I tackle.”

Seems he will be getting a good chance to hone these skills now, he has made a decision about his career.
