Tonight’s episode of Desperate Housewives, has been a long time coming. The episode titled Boom Crunch, shocks the neighbourhood, with a plane crash in the middle of Wisteria Lane.

The crash happens right as the housewives are getting prepared for the neighbourhood annual Christmas festivities. There have been many rumours made about the scene and episode with even blogger Perez Hilton getting in on the assumptions.

Some rumours even suggesting a cross over between the show and another series LOST.  Although Marc Cherry the creator of Desperate Housewives denied any such thing.

The scripts for this episode have been a well guarded secret, although what we do know is; tension grows between Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker), after Lynette is fired by Carlos ( Ricardo Chavera.)

This tension heightens when they are singing Christmas carols,  where they break into an all out argument.

Gaby then feels that Bree (Marcia Cross) is taking sides after Bree congratulates Lynette on her newly announced pregnancy.

Susan (Teri Hacher) visits Katherine (Dana Delany) who had just stabbed herself,  just after being with Mike (James Denton) in the Hospital.

Although the visit doesn’t go to plan when Katherine tells Susan to be weary of Mike, accusing him of stabbing her.

The scene also sets the place for a reunion, between Katherine and her daughter Dylan ( Lyndsy Forseca).

Bree also gains a chance at the divorce from Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) she has been wanting. After gaining photos of a reunion between Orson and a former prison mate. Bree also reveals the affair she has been having  and uses the photos as blackmail to get the divorce.

The rumours surrounding the crash, is that there could be two maybe three people killed in the crash.

Also supposedly the women gain as a result of trauma in the crash, vision of the future so we will surely be seeing these, some say even 20 years into the future.

It will definitely make 2010 essential viewing for die hard fans.
