Why is Walmart criticised while Targot is never mentioned?

Recently I went to a Targot store because I had a coupon to use. Once there I realized literally everything is made in china where as when I shop at Walmart there are products made in USA and other countries next to the china made products?
I left Targot without buying anything as I prefer US products these days, bit wondered why one never hears negative publicity against Targot? Also, is Targot a Chinese company?
Correction for the idiots seeking 2 points and are unable to figure out the store Target (when spelled Targot) and do not really have any knowledge to share. I meant the store Target.
